CoQ10 optimizes energy levels by aiding the mitochondria (power house of cells) in the complex process and transforming food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy on which the body runs. Tocotrienol acts as an antioxidant, to simultaneously protect CoQ10. Primarily, CoQ10 supplementation is indicated to correct reduced blood levels of CoQ10 for patients on medication which lowers the CoQ10 serum levels, by inhibiting its production in the liver. CoQ10 benefits the elderly, convalescents and people leading an active lifestyle.

Ingredients:
One softgel contains 15mg Tocotrienol (Low in Tocopherol) and 30mg of Coenzyme Q10.

Contraindication:
Contraindicated in those with known hypersensitivity to these substances. Note that CoQ10 is naturally produced inside the body.

Precaution:
Tocotrienols with CoQ10 may improve glycemic control in some type 2 diabetics.
If this happens, anti-diabetic medications might need appropriate adjusting.
Do not take Tocotrienol with CoQ10 while on warfarin therapy as CoQ10 may decrease the effectiveness of warfarin.

Adverse Reactions

Tocotrienols: No adverse reactions have been reported.

CoQ10: Mild GI symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea and epigastric distress have been reported.
